Maintenance

Keep it running, every month.

A monthly retainer keeps your site or app updated, secure and working, so small problems get fixed before they become big ones. It's for anyone who wants it looked after, whether we built it or not.

What it costs, and what you get.

How a retainer works.

  1. 01

    We take a look

A short review of what you have, where it's hosted and what could break. We confirm which plan fits.

  2. 02

You pay a flat monthly fee

The fee covers a defined set of routine work for your kind of project, listed on each plan.

  3. 03

    We handle the routine

Updates, monitoring and small fixes happen every month without you having to ask.

  4. 04

Ask for more when you need it

Anything beyond the plan is quoted first or billed at the hourly rate, so there are no surprises.

New features, redesigns and large changes sit outside the plan. They're quoted separately, or billed at the hourly rate.

Maintenance, in questions.

What does a maintenance retainer cover?
The routine work that keeps your project healthy: updates, security patches, monitoring, bug fixes and small changes. Each plan above lists exactly what's included for that kind of project.
Do you maintain sites and apps you didn't build?
Yes. We start with a short review of what you have so we know what we're taking on, then confirm which plan fits.
What isn't covered?
New features, redesigns and large changes. Those are quoted separately, or billed at the hourly rate.
Why a retainer instead of paying hourly?
A retainer means someone is looking after your project every month, so problems are caught early. Hourly is better for one-off changes.
